Holly Hollman is a graduate of the University of North Alabama, where she received her bachelor of science degree with a major in journalism and a minor in public relations.

She worked as a newspaper reporter for several years before becoming the grant coordinator/communications specialist for the City of Athens.

She is a board member with Athens Main Street and Athens Arts League, and is a mentor for the Athens Mayor's Youth Commission. Holly volunteers with the Prime Time Players, City of Athens Relay for Life Team, Hospice of Limestone County Chili Challenge, and other organizations.
