Yes. The closing date for general openings is listed on the particular job posting. The application must be received by 4:30 p.m. on the closing date, even if mailed. Once the closing date is over, applications will no longer be accepted for that position unless the position is reopened.

For all other positions, the city accepts applications only for the jobs that are currently vacant and posted.
