Overview of Athens Historic Preservation Commission


The Historic Preservation Commission is responsible for governing the preservation of buildings located in districts designated as historically significant.

Duties of the Historic Preservation Commission are to review applications to alter or remodel historic structures within the City of Athens and to advise residents of historical guidelines.
